Just know that going the latter route means it may take a while for people to understand your vision, which can be discouraging.Īnyway, Native Instruments has a ton of great plugins for generators and effects. Retro is back in again anyway, so you have to decide, again, what YOUR sound is gonna be either a new take on retro sounds, or something completely new. If you learn even the most basic of sound design, you find that a lot of the stock plugins are actually quite powerful.Īnd sounds being "dated" isn't really an issue either. It's true that certain plugins can expand your sound tremendously (for instance, pretty much anything from Native Instruments), but I find that what's more effective is having your own unique touch on your sound.
